Setting, adjusting, or removing Retail Hours from a location

Introduction

This document will cover how to enable, adjust, and remove Retail Hours from a location. Retail Hours enable the iPad screens at a property to only be functional during certain times of the day to restrict access to the lockers/room during other times, if requested by the property.

Step-By-Step

Adding Hours:

  1. Go to Admin

  2. Click on Locations

  3. Search by Property Name or Location ID

  4. Select the location

  5. Click on Edit

  6. Click on Retail

  7. Click on Add

  8. Select a starting time

  9. Select an ending time

  10. Check all the days that those hours apply to

  11. Click on Add

  12. Select a starting time for the second set

  13. Select an ending time for the second set

  14. Check all the days that these hours apply to

  15. In the Out Of Service Message box, type in a notice that will appear on the screen outside of the selected operating hours

  16. Click on Save

  17. Click on Resync Firebase

Removing Hours:

  1. Click on Locations

  2. Search by Property Name or Location ID

  3. Select the Location

  4. Click on Edit

  5. Click on Retail

  6. Click on Remove next to the hours you want to remove (or all of them)

  7. Update (or remove) the Out Of Service Message accordingly to match the new hours (or remove if the hours are being completely removed)

  8. Click on Save

  9. Click on Resync Firebase

Additional Education for Property Teams

  • The lockers/room can still be accessed via Bluetooth/Resident Mobile App for pickups outside of the Retail Hours set

Best Practices

  • Ensure the Out Of Service Message is descriptive and informs the user about when the operating hours are
