How to Reboot Your iPad


Sometimes the iPad needs to be rebooted manually. You will need your Manager Pin & Combination Code (or Panel Keys for older systems) before heading to lockers. You can locate your manager pin in Building Manager, under the Locker tab.

  1. Access the manager interface using the 8 digit code, navigate to the locker called “Screen,” then tap “Open” on the right portion of the screen
  2. If you are unable to access the iPad this way, please use the manual release
  3. Remove the iPad from its compartment by untwisting the four thumb screws, releasing the bracket 

    • Please be sure to hold onto the bracket with one hand so that the iPad does not fall out

  4. Press & hold down both the “HOME” & “POWER” buttons simultaneously until the screen shuts off,
  5. The screen should go dark, and a moment later, the Apple logo will appear. Let go of the buttons at that point. In a few moments, the iPad should complete its reboot
  6. Once the iPad reboots, allow the “Data Sync” phase to complete on the Luxer One app
